My Story

Meghan Weaver has always been driven by a deep desire for connection, which led to various social and community activities throughout their life. In college, she joined a sorority, and in their early 20s, she organized a weekly Happy Hour. As a newlywed, she and her husband coached a co-ed Kickball Team and co-wrote a blog about their adventures. As a new mother, she initiated Playdate at the Park. However, with the birth of her second child, her life changed dramatically. They became a medically complex, special needs family, and their previous social connections and activities diminished as they focused on finding answers and navigating their new reality.

This period of change and challenge prompted a shift in Meghan’s perspective. She now aims to help others reconnect with their communities and find their place again, particularly those struggling to support loved ones in difficult circumstances. She acknowledges the void of understanding that often accompanies unique struggles and hopes to bridge this gap through sharing her own experiences and creating opportunities for connection both online and in person.

A decade into this new phase, Meghan is actively seeking new adventures that align with their family's evolving needs and aspirations. She has remained committed to her faith and desire for community while having a balanced family life. Meghan’s husband, Chris, adds humor and constant energy to her life. They have 3 children and their middle child, Rowan, has a rare genetic disorder called GAND. Through this journey, she continues to seek connection, community, and moments of joy while navigating the challenges of her revised life.
